CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL!

This year, sadly, it has to be here, on the website but please come in and wander round. Take your time. Sit awhile. Enjoy. If you can, we would be very grateful if you could make a small donation to any of the charities listed at the bottom of this page.

In previous years, the Christmas trees have been sponsored and decorated by organisations from within the village community. Sponsors have included:
The Library
The Players
Women's Institute
Yoga
Village Businesses
Local History
Guides & Brownies
The Village Hall
Trent Valley Singers
Choral Society
Flower Arranging
And the Memory Tree (which you can find this year outside the church)

The trees outside the church in Meadow Lane have been set up & looked after by Jenny & Roger (and Lynne & David!).

Now, here are some of the trees in our own homes. Come in! You're welcome!

First up, Hilary's tree, then we have one from Cynthia and then Dinah's tree firstly with Sarah then alone, and finally in this section, Carole & Phil's

Rachel & Robert W's tree is protecting their arum lily in the garden!
(expertly wrapped by Lorna):

And two, light and dark, photos from Roger & Jenny of their tree at home

If you have a photo of your own tree you would like to add to our Christmas Tree Festival, you can email the photo to me here and I will add it to the page.

And ... Nativities
If you send photos of your nativities, I can add those too.

Our nativities, the knitted one and the one from Nigeria, carved in thorn wood:

Photos from Hilary of nativities at home & in the village:

The lovely nativity picture from Revd Anna's Zoom carol service

And finally, from the Nottingham North East Methodist Circuit Advent Journey

The charities we are supporting are:

Emmanuel House - Homeless support, Nottingham

The Friary - Homeless support, West Bridgford

Framework - Homeless, street support & housing, Nottingham

Water Aid - International development

All We Can - International development

Thank you!
