Good Friday

Good Friday

It's Good Friday, the day of days. This is the day the world changed.

Like everybody else we are stuck at home. Outside, it's a beautiful day: the sun is shining, the flowers in the garden are wonderful, birdsong garlands the trees which are themselves bursting into leaf. It is Spring and the earth is coming back to life. But this is Good Friday and we don't have any Hot Cross Buns.

We just shared (on Youtube*) in a lovely Good Friday service from our old church back in Aberystwyth. If you have the time and inclination, I do recommend it. It is quite short (about 25 minuites)**.

Good Friday service from the Ceredigion Circuit of the Methodist Church

As part of this service, we sang a beautiful song by Bryn & Sally Haworth. I don't remember ever singing it before. Even if you don't share in the whole service, do check this song out.

What kind of Love is this?

** Other services are available! This is just one of many online acts of worship.

Every blessing to you on this most special day.

I'll leave you with this picture:

My mouth is watering already
